What happens on a call

When a caller asks for an appointment, the receptionist says a holding line — “mm, let me just check the diary” — while it reads your calendar, then offers only times you are actually free. It checks again at the moment it books, and the booking appears in your calendar straight away. The customer is texted a confirmation with their own link to confirm, move or cancel.

Setting it up

  1. 1In your dashboard, open Apps & Connections → Google Calendar.
  2. 2Sign in with Google, using the account whose calendar you use — or ask us to connect it for you.
  3. 3That’s it — your busy times are read on the next call, and new bookings appear in that calendar.

If something goes wrong

A connection never breaks a call. If Google Calendar can’t be reached, the receptionist falls back — to its own diary for times, to fresh times or a flag for your team if a booking is refused, and to a note on the order if sending fails. Keys you give us are encrypted and never shown back.
