1. Acceptance
By creating an account, calling our API, or otherwise using Silux Voice, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. The service
Silux Voice is a multilingual voice platform delivering speech-to-text, text-to-speech, language detection, and related developer tooling, delivered as a fully managed cloud product. We may add, change, or deprecate features over time; we'll give 30 days' notice for changes that materially reduce functionality on a paid plan.
3. Accounts and users
Each user belongs to a single customer account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and any activity under your account. Notify us promptly at
hello@siluxvoice.com of any unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Silux Voice to (a) generate content that infringes intellectual property, defames, or violates the privacy of others; (b) impersonate a real person without their consent or run robocalling campaigns prohibited by applicable law (TCPA, PECR, etc.); (c) build voice clones of identifiable people without documented consent; (d) attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service; or (e) violate any export control or sanctions regime.
5. Free trial — one per household
The free trial runs for 14 days and includes 30 minutes of AI answering. It requires no payment card and ends automatically; there is nothing to cancel.
One trial is available per household. To enforce this we record a first-party cookie identifier on your browser and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address at sign-up. We do not store your IP address itself. If a further trial is requested from the same browser, or from an email address that has already taken one, we will decline it and invite you to choose a paid plan instead. Sign-ups sharing an IP address with an earlier trial are permitted but may be reviewed, because offices, shared buildings and mobile networks put unrelated people behind one address.
These identifiers are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the free trial, are retained for no longer than 12 months, and are not used for advertising or shared with third parties. Creating multiple accounts to obtain repeat trials is a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension.
6. Plans, fees, and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Usage above the included allowance is billed in arrears at the rates published on the Pricing page on the date of use. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where Silux Voice materially breaches the SLA. Annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 30 days before renewal.
7. Data ownership
You own your data: configurations, uploaded knowledge, audio, transcripts, and any derivative output the service produces from your inputs. We will not train shared models on your data. We retain a limited licence to host and process your data only to the extent necessary to operate the service for you.
8. Confidentiality
Each side will protect the other's non-public information with at least the same care it uses for its own confidential information, and never less than reasonable care.
9. Service levels
The Pro and Advanced plans include a 99.9% monthly uptime SLA. Service-credit remedies and the calculation methodology are documented in the Service Level Agreement, which forms part of these Terms for customers on those plans.
10. Termination
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay, or pose a security risk. Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data; after that we may delete it.
11. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Silux Voice output may be inaccurate; you are responsible for review and any downstream decisions.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, and each party's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. This does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where local consumer protection law applies.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms; the effective date will change at the top of this page and we'll notify account owners by email of material changes. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
