What happens on a call

When the call ends, the caller is matched to an existing customer by phone number or added as a new one, and their enquiry — what they need, the address they gave, how urgent it is, and the conversation — lands as a request, lead or booking for your office to quote, schedule or dispatch. It runs after the call, never while the caller is waiting, and each call is filed once.

Setting it up

  1. 1In Housecall Pro (as an admin) open My Apps → All Apps → API Key Management and generate a Full-access key.
  2. 2Paste it into Apps & Connections → Housecall Pro and press Connect & test.
  3. 3Press “Send a test call”: a lead appears for “Test Caller (Silux Voice)”.

If something goes wrong

A connection never breaks a call: Housecall Pro is written to after the call has ended, in the background. If Housecall Pro can’t be reached, the call is still in your dashboard and your usual email or text summary, and the failure is shown on the Housecall Pro card in Apps & Connections. Keys and sign-ins you give us are encrypted and never shown back.
