What happens on a call

When the call ends, the caller is matched to an existing customer by phone number or added as a new one, and their enquiry — what they need, the address they gave, how urgent it is, and the conversation — lands as a request, lead or booking for your office to quote, schedule or dispatch. It runs after the call, never while the caller is waiting, and each call is filed once.

Setting it up

  1. 1In your dashboard open Apps & Connections → Jobber.
  2. 2Sign in with Jobber as the account admin and approve — or ask us to connect it for you.
  3. 3Press “Send a test call”: a request appears under Requests with the call as a note.

  • New callers are added as clients; known numbers are matched to the existing client.

If something goes wrong

A connection never breaks a call: Jobber is written to after the call has ended, in the background. If Jobber can’t be reached, the call is still in your dashboard and your usual email or text summary, and the failure is shown on the Jobber card in Apps & Connections. Keys and sign-ins you give us are encrypted and never shown back.
