What happens on a call
When a caller orders, each item is matched against your imported menu with its price, extras and sold-out status. Anything not on the menu is taken as a special request for you to confirm. The order is read back with a total when every item has a price, then lands on your Orders page.
Setting it up
- 1In the Flipdish Portal, open Developer tools → OAuth apps and create an app called “Silux Voice”.
- 2Copy the App ID and App secret into Apps & Connections → Flipdish and press Connect & test.
- 3Choose your store, then Import menu. Optionally add your Flipdish ordering link under Call Handling so callers can be texted it.

- Flipdish’s public API can’t create orders, so phone orders come to you by email, text and the Orders page rather than into Flipdish.
If something goes wrong
A connection never breaks a call. If Flipdish can’t be reached, the receptionist falls back — to its own diary for times, to fresh times or a flag for your team if a booking is refused, and to a note on the order if sending fails. Keys you give us are encrypted and never shown back.
